Lynn Marie Smith went to New York City to study drama and become an actress. Instead she (inevitably) became a waitress/bartender and (tragically) began experimenting with drugs. She punched holes in her brain with Ecstasy and spent her nights rolling in the clubs. For her, kicking the addiction was relatively easy–it was regaining her sanity that became her challenge. Good addiction memoir with fascinating information about rolling feels like, and what it does to your mind.
